Cindered Shadows is a fanzine dedicated to the fourth house of Garreg Mach, nestled deep in the depths of Abyss: the Ashen Wolves. The aim of this project is to showcase the many adventures of the underground quartet!The project aims to create a Physical, Full Color, perfect-bound booklet in A5 format, and will feature art, writing and merch!
Our plan is to accept approximately 20 artists, 10 writers, and 3-4 merch artists.Each in-game route will be encouraged to be depicted in this project, not just the Cindered Shadows DLC. Au's are also welcome!Project will showcase DLC spoilers!

Applicant Information
Artist Requirements
Please provide Three samples of your best work. These samples should feature the style in which you plan to create for this project.
Please provide a Portfolio of your choice - If using a Google Drive link, please be sure to allow us access to view it!
There will be space to provide Three pitches. Applicants will be chosen based on these pitches! Be as creative as you so please!
Though not required, a sample of the Ashen Wolves or any Three Houses character is highly encouraged!
If chosen, artists will be expected to create a single-page or spread for this project in A5 format, CMYK, 300dpi.
Writer Requirements
Please provide Three samples of your best work. These samples should feature the style in which you plan to create for this project.
One of these samples should be at least 2.5k words or under! We ask that your three samples collectively be no longer than 10k words total!
Poetry is welcome! For poets, we are working via page count rather than word count. Thus our page limit for poetry will be around 2-3 pages in length.
Please provide a Portfolio of your choice - If using a Google Drive link, please be sure to allow us access to view it!

Mod Applicant Requirements
We are looking for additional members to add to the team!Zine are loads of fun, but with that fun comes a lot of work and commitment.By applying as a mod, please be aware that we will need your assistance throughout the full duration of the project!Please be willing to set aside time for our project should we take you onboard!All communication between the mods will be done via Discord, so please be sure that you already have an account, or are willing to create one!Thank you in advance for your interest in our project! Merch Mod:
As the merch mod, you will be overseeing all merch artists throughout the creation period. You will help assist any merch artist who may be struggling with their composition and ensure that the proper scale of each piece is properly formatted.We will be looking for someone with experience in handling and managing merch, either personal merchandise or for other zines.
Graphics Mod:
As the graphics mod, you will be responsible for overseeing all the graphics made for both our twitter and tumblr accounts. You will be responsible for creating: promotional graphics, moderator and contributor spotlights, preorder and production graphics, and any additional graphics requested by our head mod.
As our head mod will be overseeing the layout of the zine, you will not be required to aid in the format itself!Prior graphic experience, though not required, is highly recommended.
Shipping Mod:
As the shipping mod, you will be responsible for handling the final products of the zine. This will include zine booklets and all physical merchandise. You will be working alongside the finance mod to ensure that all shipping is handled properly.You will be responsible for collecting all products of the project, and will be required to show booklet flip-throughs, and item reveals as we enter that stage of the production.Prior experience in handling a large number of products is highly preferred.You must be at least 18 years old to fill this role.This role may double as the Finance Mod
Finance Mod:
As the finance mod, you will be responsible for the financial oversite of the project. You will be working along side our head mod to go over our budget, to ensure that our project will be a success. You will be assisting the project's funds, as well as help find the best manufacturers that will aid in our budget.We will be looking for someone with experience in financial management in either personal projects, or other zines.You must be at least 18 years old to fill this role.This role may double as the Shipping mod
